The third team return to league action when they entertain Forthill who are just behind them in third place as both teams challenge Dalnacraig for top spot in the Clubsport Strathmore & Perthshire Second division.   The fixture commences at 1.00pm

Last Saturday’s fixture against Forfarshire was a landmark occasion for United all rounder Benny McGill as he became only the third player to reach 200 appearances in the National league since it started in 1998.    The other two players who also reached 200 this season are Ricky Bawa of Uddingston and Jamie Kerr of Carlton. The occasion was marked with a presentation to Benny at the completion of the game.   In that period Benny has scored 2504 runs (average 20.36), bowled 1931.2 overs taking 285 wickets (average 24.09) and 47 catches.
National league post split.
The league is now split into four sections of four with all the points already gained being carried forward.   United are in the top section with Carlton, Forfarshire and Aberdeenshire.   The league committee have decided on a reversal of venue from the first fixture against each team and consequently United have been awarded two home fixtures.   The three fixtures are:
